How To Enable Cookies

In order to use section of the site, you must have cookies enabled in your browser. This varies a bit from one browser version to another.

Internet Explorer 6 for Windows 1. Click on the Tools menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Internet Options.... 3. The Internet Options box appears. Click on the Privacy tab. 4. Click on the Advanced box. The Advanced Privacy Settings box appears. 5. Check Override automatic cookie handling. 6. Under "First party cookies" check Accept. 7. Under "Third-party cookies" check Block. 8. Check Always allow session cookies. 9. Click OK. 10. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Internet Explorer 5 for Windows 1. Click on the Tools menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Internet Options.... 3. The Internet Options box appears. Click on the Security tab. 4. Select the Internet zone from the list that appears. 5. Click on Custom Level.... 6. The Security Settings dialogue box appears. Scroll down to Cookies. 7. Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to Enable. 8. Set "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" to Enable. 9. Click OK. (You may get an "Are you sure?" message. You're sure.) 10. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Internet Explorer 5 for Mac OS X 1. Click on the Explorer menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Preferences. The Internet Explorer Preferences box appears. 3. Scroll down to Receiving Files. (If menu choices are not visible below, double-click on Receiving Files.) 4. Select Cookies. 5. Next to "When receiving cookies:" make sure Never ask is selected. 6. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Internet Explorer 5 for Mac OS 9 1. Click on the Edit menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Preferences. The Internet Explorer Preferences box appears. 3. Scroll down to Receiving Files. (If menu choices are not visible below, double-click on Receiving Files.) 4. Select Cookies. 5. Next to "When receiving cookies:" make sure Never ask is selected. 6. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Netscape 6 for Windows 1. Click on the Edit menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Preferences. 3. The Preferences box appears. Categories appear on the left. Double-click on Privacy and Security. 4. Select Cookies from the list that appears. 5. Make sure Enable All Cookies is checked. 6. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Netscape 4 for Windows 1. Click on the Edit menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Preferences. 3. The Preferences box appears. Click on the Advanced box. 4. Make sure Accept All Cookies is checked. 5. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.

Netscape 7.0 for Mac OS X 1. Click on the Netscape menu at the top of the window. 2. Select Preferences. 3. The Preferences box appears. Double-click on Privacy & security. 4. Select Cookies from the menu that appears. 5. Make sure Enable all cookies is checked. (Alternatively, you can select Enable cookies based on privacy settings and click on View to see advanced settings-but only if you want to tinker.) 6. Click OK. Your cookies are now enabled.
